I run Al-Jazari Design Lab — an engineering consultancy in Egypt that helps university students turn their ideas into physical, working projects. I named it after the 12th-century Arab polymath who built water clocks, automata, and mechanical marvels centuries before the industrial revolution. Built an engineering consultancy from scratch targeting university students across Egypt. Services span the full hardware lifecycle: PCB design (schematic to Gerber files), CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD), 3D printing with 0.1mm precision across PLA/PETG/ABS, electronics assembly and debugging, and embedded systems development on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. Designed the brand identity, launched the website on Netlify with integrated order intake, and trained a Core Team in 23 sales closing methodologies.
Designed and deployed a complete local AI inference stack on a ThinkStation P520 (Xeon W-2235, dual RTX 3060 12GB, Ubuntu 24.04). Configured multi-GPU inference with CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES and OLLAMA_SCHED_SPREAD. Benchmarked MoE vs. dense models for STM32/FreeRTOS code generation — found GLM-4.7-Flash with crafted system prompts outperformed Qwen3 on implementation quality. Built a four-agent Open WebUI pipeline (Brain, Reasoner, Coder, Critic). Deployed a persistent AI agent (CHETOOS) on OpenClaw with Qdrant vector memory, Tavily search, automated backups, and session compaction management.
Practicing traditional metalsmithing — copper, silver, and gold. Forging, shaping, and finishing handcrafted jewelry and objects including personalized ring designs. Pioneering hybrid analog-digital workflows: using AI image-to-3D generation (Hunyuan3D, TripoSG, TRELLIS) to prototype forms before handcrafting in precious metals. Selecting OBJ format for editability and STL for final print-to-mold pipelines.
